After 30 years of dedicated service in the fire department, Captain B. Franks has come to a profound realization about the critical need for a Mental Health Organization within the fire service. He believes that this long-overdue necessity is paramount for the well-being of firefighters. Captain Franks understands that maintaining a healthy mental state is essential not only for the effectiveness of firefighters but also for their roles as fathers and husbands. With a 21-year-long marriage and five children, aged 15 to 33, Captain Franks brings a wealth of life experience to his role. He embarked on his journey in the fire service by successfully completing the fire academy in 1991, and for the past 25 years, he has been an integral part of the Mansfield fire department, serving with unwavering commitment and dedication. Captain Franks is passionate about promoting mental health awareness and well-being among his fellow firefighters, recognizing that a stable mental state is a cornerstone for success in their line of duty.
